Ok, so you need
some help downloading and installing your new fonts?
Well, its very easy! Lets start with the basics for Microsoft Windows:
1. To download the font, click on the one you want. Save it to your
desktop.
2. To be able to un-zip the file and get to the font, you'll need
a free version of WinZip from www.winzip.com.
3. Double Click the zip file to Un-Zip it. You'll see the font file
inside. Extract the font file to your desktop. For Windows 95/98, just drag
the file to your fonts directory at: START > SETTINGS > CONTROL PANEL
> FONTS.
4. For Windows ME/XP, Extract the font to your desktop. Then go to
START > SETTINGS > CONTROL PANEL > FONTS, Click on "file"
and choose "Install Font".
5. Close all folders, and close and restart all running applications.
Your fonts should now be working.
If that doesn't answer your question, here are some more frequently asked
questions:
Q.Are
the
fonts
really
free? Can
I
use
them
on
a
product
I
then
sell?
A.Yes
you
can
use
them
for
free,
as
long
as
there
are
no
"Read
Me"
type
files
that
accompany
the
font
inside
of
its
zip
file. SOME
of
the
fonts
REQUIRE
an
additional
fee
if
you
are
going
to
be
using
them
for
commercial
purposes.
Again,
there
will
be
a
notice
and
instructions
inside
the
zip
file
for
these
fonts.
You
can
also
find
copyright
information
about
the
font
by
actually
double
clicking
the
font
file
itself.
Inside
there
may
be
information
about
where
the
font
came
from,
who
created
it,
and
commercial
use
information.
If
you
are
trying
to
be
extra
safe,
try
to
follow
some
of
those
leads
to
see
if
you
should
be
paying
for
your
font.
Q.
Could
you
please
confirm
for
me
whether
or
not
I
am
able
to
use
one
of
your
fonts
for
use
on
a
business
card
and
letter
head
without
incurring
a
copyright
cost?
Its
so
good
of
you
to
have
them
downloadable
for
free
but
I
am
unsure
on
the
legalities
behind
it.
A.
Although
most
of
our
fonts
are
free
to
use
for
almost
anything,
there
are
a
few
that
require
you
contact
the
owner
of
the
font
before
using
it
commercially.
These
files
will
include
a
readme
file
with
special
contact
instructions.
You
may
also
open
the
font
file
itself
(double-click)
to
view
the
copyright
information.
A
simple
yahoo
or
google
search
on
this
copyright
info
usually
will
send
you
to
the
person
who
created
the
font,
if
you
need
to
investigate
your
copyright
concerns
any
further.
Q. Do I have to use winzip?
A. Yes. It is required to be able to unzip the files available for download
from graffitifonts.com.
Q. Is WinZip free?
A. Yes. WinZip is free. There is a voluntary registration fee if you would
like to support their software, but the program can be used without registering
or purchasing the software itself.
Q. How
do I unzip the file?
A. You just double-click the file, and it will open your winzip application.
Then you extract the file(s).
Q. What font is graffitifonts.com's logo written in?
A. That font is called Subway.
Q. If Iwanted to learn how to do graffiti would it be easier to learn
on my own by scribbling down words and turning them into funk or just go
to a website and copy those down and learn form that...in your opinion which
one would be easier?
A. We don't answer questions like this, etc...!
Q. How do I make the text glow like ur logo?
A. Photoshop - and please no more design questions, I'm not getting paid
to teach!
Q. I have Windows ME and there is no "Install fonts" option
under the "file" menu on my fonts folder. Whats wrong?
A. Patch Windows ME by doing the following steps: Click the START menu,
choose "run". In the text area, type this exactly: ATTRIB +S
C:\Windows\Fonts Then click ok. You should see a DOS window open
then close. Restart your computer. Now check your fonts folder. You should
see the Install fonts option under the file menu.
Q. Some of the fonts I try to use don't work right. When I go to use
them, it just puts blocks on the screen instead of letters. why is this?
A. Some of the fonts don't contain capital letters. Some fonts only have
a lowercase set, so you can only use lowercase letters with that font. If
you try to use a character that is unavailable, you will get a square "box".
Q. When I try to download a font and unzip it there is nothing there
no files in the zipped file.
A. When downloading a font, make sure to save the zip file to your desktop
before you try to open it. If you choose the "open" option during
your download, you wont be able to see the file inside the zip.
Q. I try
to talk to my friends on aol instant messenger with a font from this site
but it doesn't show up on their end of the message it just shows up on my
window. How can I get the fonts to work on aol instant messenger?
A. BOTH users have to have the same fonts installed their computers. Tell
your friends to stop by and download some fonts!
Q.
I
have
a
web
page
and
I
downloaded
some
fonts
from
your
site.
I
changed
my
fonts
to
graffiti
fonts
on
my
page(s).
I
can
see
it
but
no
one
else
can.
Is
there
a
way
for
others
to
see
the
font
too?
A. You have to make .gif or .jpg graphics with a photo editor such as Photoshop
or Paint Shop Pro, then add the graphics to your site. People cant see the
embedded fonts unless they have the same font installed on their system.
